A very special 40th Birthday
One of the amazing Events Coordinators at Heaton House Farm celebrated a very special birthday at the weekend.
Jo Lover turned 40! And had an absolutely incredible party to celebrate!
The Wedding Barn at Heaton House Farm was simply the perfect space to host over 100 friends and family who joined her on Saturday 19th January to party the night away!
Selected as caterers for the special evening, we knew we had to create an unforgettable 2-course menu that would delight the taste buds of all the guests.
We opted for three selections for the guests to choose from for their main course to ensure we could offer everyone something they would absolutely love.
Our Bowl Food also make great choices for a more relaxed event, so Jo opted for three of our absolute favourites.
The first dish was the delicious Pulled Beef Brisket Bolognese served with basil orzo pasta, parmesan and a roquette salad.
Offering an alternative option, we adapted one of our signature dishes to serve Roast Chicken Thighs with smoked bacon, crème fraiche, new potatoes and a thyme and apple jus.
The Vegetarian option was the flavoursome Roasted Squash Butter Curry served with coriander and cumin seed Pilau Rice and Naan bread.
All the guests were extremely pleased with the selection of delicious main meals on offer, but luckily they still had room for more as we had prepared three delectable desserts for everyone to try!
We created a mouth-watering home-grown Garden Apple and Ginger Pudding that was complemented by a smooth and rich butterscotch sauce served on our fancy spoons!
Alongside this, we offered the guests an indulgent Chocolate and Hazelnut Brownie served with a Cherry Brandy Compote.
We also made a traditional Saint Clements Tart garnished with dried oranges for extra flavour.
Everyone enjoyed trying the desserts and talking to each other about which one was the best! We simply could not decide, and neither could the guests!
But, a special birthday would not be complete without a spectacular birthday cake! Jo cut into her beautiful birthday cake from ButterCup Cakes before everyone took to the dancefloor for an evening of dancing, drinking and lots of laughter! Jo’s son even took to the floor to show everyone his moves!
It was an absolutely fabulous night. But the fun didn’t stop there, some of Jo’s family and friends stayed the night at Heaton House Farm which meant we got to cook everyone a delicious breakfast the following morning!
It gave everyone a chance to share photographs, videos and memories from the night before whilst filling up ready for the journey home.
Everyone had an amazing time and made sure Jo had a 40th birthday to remember. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of Jo’s extra special birthday celebration!
