Outdoor activity adventure for our team!

Our fantastic team from Heaton House Farm, Stable Yard Catering and The Knot Inn took a well-deserved night off to celebrate an incredible year of achievements!

As tradition goes, no one knew what was in store – everyone arrived full of enthusiasm (and just a little bit of curiosity!) on a warm summer evening. We gathered in our beautiful The Old Stableyard courtyard, catching up with colleagues old and new, in the beaming sunlight. Then came the big reveal from Sarah…we were heading just up the road to Madrenaline Activity Centre!

The Madrenaline team had lined up a night packed with fun, including fiercely competitive team-building challenges, segway riding, axe throwing, archery, and air rifling. It was two hours full of laughter, friendly rivalry, and discovering our team’s secret talents, all while testing problem-solving skills and coordination, under the watchful eye of the fantastic Madrenaline team!

After our adrenaline-filled adventures, we headed back to The Old Stableyard at Heaton House Farm for a well-earned feast prepared by the wonderful Oak & Sage Catering. We enjoyed delicious meats cooked on an open fire, fresh salads, flatbreads and potatoes, followed by pan-fried peaches for dessert, a refreshing end to the hot evening! To round things off, Trish from Madrenaline had us scratching our heads with some tricky riddles – a light-hearted challenge that kept the competitive streak going!

Although not all of our team could make it (August is a busy month!), the evening was a wonderful reminder of how close-knit our team is. We also took time to celebrate some very special milestones for some of the Heaton House Farm team. Congratulations to Olivia, Carol, JoJo and Jackie who celebrated their 10-year work anniversary! Congratulations on being such an amazing and supportive part of the team- and enjoy the flowers!

As the sun set, conversations flowed, photos were taken, and memories were made. It was a night filled with friendship, teamwork, and pride in everything we have achieved together across all three companies!
